John...blowfish...that reminds me...

On our way back from visiting my brother in Vegas (leaving nice 102
degree Chatsworth for 112 degrees) we decided to make like tourists
and visit Calico. Too blamed hot but kind of fun after all the tour
busses left. So there's this one mine we trekked through and it let's
out at a place where they'd bring the ore UP. And of course it's
called the Glory Hole.

Deb says she'll post a photo after I get out of the hospital. No, I'm
fine - really. It was so hot at Calico that our car engine overheated
on the way back to the freeway. So I left the family at the car by the
side of the road and went looking for the Barstow canals to get some
water. By the time I had walked to Victorville I had third degree
burns over 90% of my body. So I checked into a hotel room and took a
hot shower thinking it would rinse off some of the dead skin...

Speaking of DC...Deb and I were discussing our upcoming party when
Jason (age 5) walked in and asked if David would be at the party. We
said we didn't know but possibly.

"Will he be naked?" asked Jason.

And then Ryan walked in and said "If it was four inches shorter it'd
be a PERFECT penis!"

Uh oh! Deb's cracking her knuckles and glaring at me. Gotta run now.

BTW Jason DID say the above but Ryan didn't...not yet...
