Actually, I don't think it would. A lot of the Lenny virus spam I get
appears to be generated by his e-mail system and sent directly
to mine--without going through this site at all. I think it's just
sending stuff from random addresses in his mail program to
other random addresses in his mail program.

I'm not sure whether skipping posts is more or less
labor-intensive on the site vs. through one's in-box. But I do tend
to skim some more than others . . . (like, all those ones from
David Wire . . .).
