So your real reason to suggest this job to John is the faint hope of
weaseling your way into meeting 7 of 9?

Btw, "7 of 9" is a mistranslation from the original Borg.
Prepositions are always a bitch in translation: it should really be
7" to 9", so you might not qualify. The item John left at your party,
however...
