This is also, clearly, a forgery. It's way too succinct to be John's account
of why he no longer owns a copy of the book. Granted, most people would
simply
say "I gave mine away years ago." But to truly be John's account of the
story,
it would need to contain much more detail, like: 1) where he bought the
book;
2) others to whom he might have loaned the book, back in the 80s; 3) dishes
he's
cooked while discussing the book (and the days of the week on which those
discussions took place; and 4) the history of his friendship with Sasha.
As one of the co-moderators of the group, I demand that we get to the bottom
of
the matter of these fake "John Turley" postings!
