I suppose *I* would contribute the Lovecraft story, and *Lenny* would supply
the stuffed animals?
(And there IS actually such a toy! My pal Joi Wolfwomon -- she of the green
dreadlocks, facial hair, and extensive body modification -- went to visit
her dying brother in a Catholic hospital armed with one of these things.
She says she gave him -- literally -- his last laugh when she walked up to
his bed, waved the animal in his face, and screamed in a falsetto tone,
"CTHULHU LOVES YOU!" Chocodile, yes, but considering this was a guy filled
with IV tubes and ready to Check Out in about two hours, it was an inspired
move. She's that kinda gal...)
Lenny, you should get some Web space and put up some "Stoner Possum"
stories!
