Re: New Olive Film - Scriptwriting101
I'm not sure the Japanese *LIKE* to work but perhaps see it as more of
a duty. They may just silently suffer whereas us Americans gripe
*LOUDLY* about work.
John can relate to this: Sitting on a pile on unused vacation but try
to take off longer than a few days and - goodness - you'd think you
were asking for a raise. The Managers sigh and moan, look worriedly at
a schedule, mutter something about "coverage" and "deadlines", and
then sign the permission form.
Been here over 6 years. Longest vacation was 8 days. I once had Jury
Duty for 10 days...that was fun.
(*sigh*) And my middle kid just started Kindergarten. Oldest in 2nd
grade. Littlest is programming in Ruby. Where does the time go?
