I agree with all of what you say here.

But it is the government that has declared the WAR on drugs, so that I used this term very deliberately.

If someone dies of cancer/AIDS because their body cannot deal with the pain... it is a war crime.

Or if a pot grower murdered a DEA agent, it would also be a war crime.

  Lenny:

"War crimes" generally refers to deeds done in a time of war. The "war" on
drugs is not a real war. It's merely an arena in this country in
which--under the guise of "health," or "saving our young people," or however
we couch it at any given time--we suspend the constitution, civil rights,
and the democratic ideal because no one in government has the balls to
question the overaching necessity for this bullshit. If they do--Jocelyn
Elders had the ovaries to do it--they are hounded out of office.

This outrage has been going on for a long time with barely anyone pointing
out that the Emperor has no clothes. But it's been a peacetime outrage,
  until recently.

I'm hoping that with a real war going on the government will find other,
more legitimate ways to amuse itself.

  Saw the picture here too.

RAW has been going downhill since his wife Arlen died...

Mike introduced me to Mr. Wilson, I met him personally a few times..and I
thank you for it Mr. Lunatic :)

And he has not dimmed in my eyes.

This Santa Cruz thing just serves as one more indication of how the US
government in its War on Drugs is guilty of nothing less then war crimes...
I wish I could be up there in Santa Cruz protesting with them

  Mike,

Todays (Valley) LA Grimes had an article about the medical brouhaha in
Santa Cruz and how the mayor et al handed out freebie pot.

And a picture with the article showed this bearded old juicer in a
wheelchair looking like he needs far more than Ol' Mary to get through
  a day.

Claiming that he needed the pot for his "Post-Polio Syndrome" was none
  other than Robert Anton Wilson.

If it was THE R.A.W. how interesting that the LA Grimes would feature
  his picture.

  What's the subliminal message here?
