you say you stand behind our so-called Constitutional government-
our government recently has rewritten/restructured itself without our
consent or true representation, no matter who you are or I am or what any of
us believe regarding war or no war-- I am now studying the original USA
Patriot Act and the latest installment- our rights are eroded and being even
more eroded-once I get my own FAQ togethrer and some other legal docs I'll
send it on- or send it in installments- I have already witnessed and heard
of stories- I have a friend whose life has been turned upside down because
of this Act. We do not live in a democracy, we live in a police state- have
for years- and it's getting worse- Did you know that your American-Born
Citizenship can be taken away from you if this new version passes if the
government does not like who you are affiliated with? And you don't have to
be at all active or even fringe- simple breath in the wrong direction,
mistake by association will probably be permitted and reason enough to kick
any one's butt out of the good ole USA- WE ARE NOT LIVING IN AMERICA ANYMORE
FOLKS! WAKE UP AND SMELL THE CRAPOLA OUR GOVERNMENT IS FEEDING US EVERYDAY
THROUGH THE EMBEDDED PROGRAMMED MEDIA...this war is a smokescreen for what
is on the horizon of our homefront- this has been on my mind drastically
since 9-11, and I am finally speaking out and taking action to create
teach-ins, inform and disseminate facts and about individuals and their
stories of how they are affected- if it can happen to them, it can happen to
anyone of us! so don't be a good German, do something to be up in arms at
the trampling of your very rights that you are snowballed into *thinking*
are being protected-- granted- Saddam is insane, also a scapegoat for 9-11 -
what's ahpened to Bin Laden" haven't heard about him for quite
sometime! -this whole mess though has been in part created by the US
Government- we helped create the Osama's and Hussein's- and any idealistic
kid who goes to Palestine to help the Paletinians is NOT a terrorist and
should not be looked at as a committing treason-there are alot of innocents
in Palestine and Iraq- and for the Palestinian children especially are
caught in a double-bind, no win situation from the day they are born, a
hopeless existence. Now with the advent of recent world events and
particularly with 9-11, we in the USA are on shakier ground, with new
cultural layers to contend with everyday. How are we to thrive and hold on
to our humanity and dignity if and when the type of daily chaos overseas
becomes our own to know? What will we do then?
