Interesting, the things you learn when you start investigating who's been
referring to you.

I followed one link back to the eminent Iranian-American blogger
Pejmanesque, and discovered that I was part of the inspiration for a new
Iranian Revolutionary flag (it's on two sites, and there are three different
versions--but they aren't dissimilar). Not that someone else wouldn't have
thought of this obvious thing.

If I'm feeling electronically butch I may try to post one of these to the
olive album, but first I'm going to try to get it onto my web site.

(Traffic is up, BTW--I've had over 1000 hits so far, depending on how you
count.)

Nice linguistics discussion there, too, Johnny--remember to read the
"comments" below the post:

You'll want to recall that when Iraq was liberated one of the citizens there
was asked what he wanted for the future of his country. He replied,
"Democracy! Whiskey!" And then, as an afterthought, "and Sexy!"

So the "Democracy! Whiskey! Sexy!" legend appears on lots of blogsites.
