The most I got out of him was a sob story about an
elderly man and his INCREDIBLE collection of
first-edition, signed books. I suggested a nice letter
to the gentleman's wife and son, telling them what a
nice collection he has, and if there is another
opportunity to do some business with him, please let
you know. Yeah, it's mercenary. But it might get
them thinking. (Admittedly, they'll probably think,
"Hey! How much money can *I* get out of it now...")
