Re: Re: One more quiz - Politics!

I had to take the test twice, because my computer crashed before I could
respond with my first set of results. But it's pretty imprecise, since a lot
of the questions were so simplistic that I wavered between "agree" and
"disagree." (Though I understand why they didn't give me the waffle-room of
an "in the middle" position.)

For the record, I disagree on where they placed Margaret Thatcher. The
Faulklands War notwithstanding, she privatized a lot of the UK's utilities
and the like--to great effect. She's more libertarian than they remember.

Second-time results:
Economic Left/Right: 4.38
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.92

Basically, the first time I took the test I was a bit further to the
economic right, and not as far into libertarian territory--by about a square
each way. Not as close to the exact middle as Mike, but still damned close.

(Keep the government out of my personal life, INCLUDING MY CHECKBOOK!)

Boy, my bleeding heart/social freedom tendencies came out strong:
Economic Left/Right: -6.00
Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.82

More taxes for the rich! more government spending! Keep the
government out of my personal life!
