Re: Re: Bleuels and Connors
Wouldn't it be great if we could tell Richard we've grown up and become
mature, reasonable, responsible adults?
I mean, without lying.
The truth is, we're all the same. Some went to medical school. Some had
children. Some became teachers; other attached themselves to lucrative
segments of the entertainment industry. Some started successful businesses.
Some stopped going to parties in a desperate attempt to establish in their
own minds the notion that they were normal people, rather than olives. Yet
in their heart of hearts they know they cannot spend time with the rest of
us, lest they start leaning their chairs back, spontaneously juggling, or
throwing the word "pnorny" into the conversation as if it were confetti.
No one has succesfully recovered from this devastating state of olive-hood.
All anyone has ever managed is to stave it off, day by day.
Welcome back, Conner.
