This is a true story, and appropriate for Good Friday even though it happened a week ago.
One of Mel Gibson's kids goes to my school. I have had him in class before, but I had never really talked to him.
Last Friday, which was the last day before Spring ( Easter ) break, I did chat with him ( but not about his Dad or the Passion)
He even asked me to give him a ride home. I told him that I would have to get his parents' permission.( I had my cell phone all ready, as if to say...PLEASE CALL DAD!!!, but he didn't.)
But here is the strange little incident that prompts me to report this.
During class, "Michael" ( not his real name...he is only in 8th Grade) Gibson was messing around with another boy, ( sticking each other with pencils).... At one point young Mr. Gibson called me over, saying that he stuck himself with the pencil, and that..... his palm was bleeding!!!!!.
( It was just a scratch , " Michael" is OK)
