When was *I Dismember Mama* made? As I recall, James Thurber came up with
that title along with a whole string of others (one of which was
*Oklahomosexual*), in a collection of essays (publishing date: 50s/60s, I
can probably look it up if I ever walk into the other room and away from the
computer). The point being, it was a joke, and it sounds like someone
actually made a movie up to conform to a joke title.

Yes, it's at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0166222/. Ben Affleck, of all
people, directed it.

And while we're on the misogynistic-violence theme...one of my favorite
movie titles is "I Dismember Mama" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071639/)
