Three points need to be made, and yes...they ARE grouchy
1. This proves the utter nonsense and false dichotomy being talked about
recently...mainly the New Media/Old Media duel, and just how phony a fight
that is.... this conspiracy Website goes to prove that the New Media is
filled with a LOT of garbage... and no I don't see it as a great hope for
anything...but rather a sad regrettable waste that the wondrous technology
and promise of the Internet is being wasted on such crap
2. That educated, liberal, intelligent people need to waste time on such
garbage, when they could be out getting fresh air, helping a child learn how
to read, or just looking at the stars.
3. That in general, the gifted, daring, and the witty are being drowned out
on the Internet by the loud, greedy, in-your-face- or geeky.
Old Media vs. New Media??? Who CARES what medium that you use, if your mind
is still in the same old place?
