Technically, I'm given to understand active jammers are illegal in
California. But passive signal blockers aren't - and apparently there's an
accoustic tile that is extremely effective at blocking cell phone signals.
Whatever it is, I suspect new theaters are using it. Now if only we could
get restaurants and stores to use them....
