New, newer, newest.
* I'd love to see a rendering of this;
* I remember when the original developer of the New Mall gave a
presentation on it at Lincoln;
* I'm really intrigued by the idea of adding rooftop parkland along the
tops of the buildings on 2nd and 4th;
* I'm curious as to which strips of green space would be open to the
public--would all the parkland at the new new mall be private, only for
residents?
* I wonder how policing of the rooftop parklands would work, and how
they'd be lit'
* I'm really concerned about how much this would visually cut off other
parts of S.M. from the ocean, and how it would affect air currents and
privacy. How would someone on 4th or 5th or 6th street feel about
having a high-rise between their home/office and the water? How many
downtown condos and apartments would totally lose their privacy because
people in the high-rises could see into their homes?
