Very hard to guarantee snow (at least, without getting snowed under on
a year like this one). Our chances would be much better at a place that
doesn't have skiing, and might be better at Idyllwild than at Lake
Arrowhead. But we could try each.
There's a chance I'll be out of town on a business trip that weekend,
but I'd still like to dictate where we're going to go, even if it turns
out I won't be involved.
I'm leaning toward Tahachapi, so Sue can drop by. There's a train, and
pretty hills, and a good old-fashioned coffee shop in the middle of
town. And on a year like this one, there might well be snow.
