My first memories of Zucky's were going there for Sunday brunch with my
family when I was about 8 or 9. I remember that the waitresses were
wonderfully sassy..." You don't REALLY want Raisin Bran do you?"

My best memories were in the summer of 1975. My old high school friends and
I were taking part in the summer musical theater... The show was "Mame".
sponsored by St.Mathews Church in Pacific Palisades, ( and was performed at
SAMO's Barnum Hall) We would always go to Zucky's for dessert after
rehearsals....It was our favorite part of the whole rehearsal experience (
or we would go to La Barbera's pizza in West LA... another fave place that
is long gone)

At Zucky's our group of teens would always sit in the large corner booth in
the Northwest corner of the place. We were totally rowdy.

BTW, Debbie,.... I did not know what was meant by TBFKAZ either.
