These math puzzles are absolutely amazing. Just try them and see for
yourself! Do each of them one at a time and do not scroll down to the
bottom before finishing. You will be amazed at these problems, and
will not have a clue how they work – unless you are psychic, of
course!
1) Think of a number between 1 and 3.
.
.
.
You picked 2, right?
2) Pick a number between 10 and 20. Now add 1 to this number. Okay,
now subtract the number you first thought of.
.
.
.
You have 1, right?
3) This is more complicated. You might need a pencil and paper. I know
that I did... Think of a two-digit number between 10 and 99. Okay, now
reverse the digits. (So, if you picked "45", you now have
"54", and if
you picked "20", you would now, um, you would have, uh,
well... you
get the idea.) Okay, now take this number, and reverse the digits
again.
.
.
.
You have the number you picked, right? And if not, try it again. I
know that I had to do this three times before I got it, and it usually
works almost every time I try it now...
If you have gotten this far, then you are most likely smarter than
some people. I speak from experience when I tell you that Math is not
easy. People spend many years trying to figure out problems like the
four presented above.
If you got less than 20%, you might want to go back to high school. If
you got less than 60%, then a PhD could fix it. But if you got more
than 110%, then you can congratulate yourself on your brilliance and
know that at least 80% of the people on this planet are at least as
smart as you, or probably even smarter.
Now take this email and send it to two people that you know, and tell
them to do these math problems. Tell them also to forward this email
to two people that THEY know (except you, of course!). If everyone
follows the instructions, well, by the end of next month it is
possible that literally dozens of people will have received this
email. And if you ask people to send you a dollar each time they
receive this email, then you could make about $50 in almost no time at
all.
