Alex,

You have to remember that much of my conversation with John consists of his
recollections of pranks, insults, jibes and other rudenesses directed
against people years or even DECADES ago, and that everyone else seems to
have forgotten (if not forcibly suppressed from their memories!)

Glad to hear you're doing well in O.C. I'm in the book-biz too, albeit as
an independent online dealer. So I can email folks and surf the Web any
time I feel like it.
