Effective military? Elections? So then things are stable over there
and Bush will pull out our military, right?
Whoops, another bomb blast. Another bunch of Americans and Iraqis
dead. Kind of ironic that more Americans have been killed in this
endeavor than Hussein could ever hope to accomplish. Certainly his
*desire* to have WMDs didn't kill any Americans.
Notice I didn't bring up bin Laden? Notice I didn't bring up Bush
proclaiming that *any* country that harbors terrorists would face the
US Military if they didn't hand in the terrorists. Notice I didn't
mention that Bush's policy seemingly applied to Afghanistan but not to
Pakistan, and that our military has stated that they have a good idea
where bin Laden is but, for political reasons, they can't get to him.
Notice I didn't bring up that Bush's *ONLY* area of competence is the
fight against terrorism and it's quite scary how incompetent he is in
that area.
But enough about W.
Here's hoping for a happy, healthy New Years for everybody, even if
their politics are a bit misaligned. ;)

Now, do I root for the Trojans or for Texas? That is a quandary!
