"Backstage" is what Disney calls any area of the Disneyland resort
complex that's off-limits to the public. Because I work within the
resort, I have access to some non-public areas. The most interesting
place I can take people is an employee-only store called Company D,
where they sell marked-down Disney products. Want an "Aladdin" CD for
half-price?
Oddly enough, I'm allowed to buy food from the vending machines in some
of the Disney employee break rooms, but not from the employee
cafeteria. I'm also allowed to join the Disney credit union, but most
of their ATM's are located in places I don't have access to.

Doesn't sound like my kind of thing, really. After working in
bookstores for a few years, I stopped collecting books. I even got rid
of nearly all the ones I already owned. I still love books, for their
contents, but the physical object that is a book doesn't interest me so
much any more. Not sure if that disqualifies me from being a
"bibliophile" or not.
