I'm a decent baker, though I deal more with quick breads (e.g.,
cornbread, muffins) and pies (especially pumpkin, lime/lemon meringue,
and apple) than with yeast breads (I do make a mean dinner roll [shut
up!] however, and I do okay with French-style loaves [shut up!]).

I'm note sure I'd heard that Greg had taken up baking. I thought that
was more a Barky/JM sort of thing (I mean, in terms of their
respective prowess with baguettes [shut up!]).

IIRC, last time I went on a cabin trip I served quiche + roast beef,
because I was tired of the chili/Moroccan stew/casserole grind.

I could get a copy of a Janis Ian album, if that would help in
rounding up the oldtimers. Or I could promise to be less obnoxious
than usual--or more, of course ;)

If you're serious, you'll send invites via e-mail to the Zungris, the
Turks, and Alex. And perhaps Eric and Cindy and Sandy and Tassie. And
Kerry. And John Turley, Sr.
