It's gratifying you have well grounded reasons
for attending Siggraph. But don't forget the pixels..

I'm sitting in a colorfully lit tent listening to
guitar music watching ornately costumed people
wandering aimlessly, seeking true purpose.

In the distance, someone's dancing to "Lets do the
Time Warp Again" at the Rocky Horror theme camp.

In the middle of the Nevada desert, there is little
purpose.
