Hey, how goes it? I haven't been around in about a thousand years,
for a variety of bad reasons. But, having been invited, circuitously,
to John's house 2 weeks ago, I thought I'd dip my toe back into the
Olive pool. If you'll have me. If you remember me.

Briefly, I'm a full-time lecturer in the English department at UC
Riverside. Divorced, one cat, no tattoos, and no criminal record
(they didn't press charges when I committed what was written up as
"sivil disobedience." I'm a liberal Democrat of the reasonable left,
leaning towards Edwards but also pretty happy with Obama -- though, if
Gore ran or if Kucinich were taller, I'd be even more torn. I live
for sushi, bad movies, and good conversation.
