I *loved* Gran Torino. And any film depicting the gradual
unveiling of a deep character. "Frozen River" was also
excellent, and Melissa Leo definitely deserved the nomination
and hopefully the award on Sunday. "Slumdog Millionaire" would
be a huge coup if it wins, and I don't think "Benjamin Button"
will sweep despite all those nominations. We'll see.
Look for me and Susie on the red carpet around 4:00-4:30pm!
