It's the mystery/puzzles/magic issue:
http://www.wired.com/wired/
It might even be worth getting in hardcopy (for those of you who aren't
David C./subscribers), since I think some of the puzzles depend on having it
on dead-tree.
There's an article about the neuroscience of magic by one of David L's
competitors, too.
Good stuff, though so far I've only perused it over the course of one
sleepless night. So far I haven't really solved any of the puzzles, but I
have that tantalized sensation that suggests they're out there, beckoning.
DEBBIE: FOR THE LOVE OF G-D, SHOW THIS TO DEAN. I mean it.
Love,
Joy
P.S. The Freakazoid Season Two DVD just came out the day before yesterday,
so now both seasons are available on DVD. If you buy them they will rise on
the Amazon charts, and cheer my husband up--despite the fact that he can't
run now, and if the knee procedure isn't successful, might never run again.
:(
P.S.S. [as they say] I'm sorry, Alex, that I used the word "Amazon." I will
quite happily switch back to small independent booksellers as soon as they
start staying open all night. Because what cannot be done at 3:00 a.m.
simply doesn't get done. I think we all know that.
