I've heard it said that everyone likes either geometry or algebra, but never both.
Algebra made decent sense to me, while geometry was maddening.
The logic, the flow, and the use of at least some letters made algebra much more approachable. And who cares about quadrangles anyway? What did a quadrangle ever do for you? To heck with 'em, says me.
