It may make the heart grow fonder . . . but is it LEGAL?

Virgin America sent me another one of their little love notes:

"Joy,

Don’t be surprised if you see a Green Fairy on board your next Virgin
America flight.

is
delighted to be the first Airline to offer Absinthe in-flight.

Le Tourment Vert authentic French absinthe is now available on all Virgin
America flights. Try our Mile High Cocktail, a Tourmenting and satisfying
blend of Le Tourment Vert Absinthe, sprite and lemons shaken and served over
ice. Bon Voyage!

for
inspiring absinthe cocktail recipes."

Perhaps it is legal ABOVE the U.S., even if not really-quite-legal IN the
U.S. Or maybe it's one of those wimpy formulations of absinthe, without the
correct type of wormwood.
