BTW, I just read Janine's "The Bridge," and I enjoyed it. I actually didn't think about the amount of description while I was reading it. I suppose it's more or less in line with what I'd expect from a science fiction novel.
I got it out of the Anaheim public library. Some kind soul had crossed out some of the worst of the cursing, thus sparing my delicate sensibilities. :-)
