One final post about forming plurals: When a word ends in "f" sound, we want to change the spelling to "v", to wit:

knife -> knives
thief -> thieves

The reason, of course, is that the final plural "s" really sounds like a "z". It is easier to end a word pronouncing "vz" than "fz".

Then by analogy, we should do this:

fife -> fives
chief -> chieves

Looks good to me!
