Re: The VERY Best of Industrial Waist
Now wait a minute here.
You might think that this is just a private
transaction between two consenting adults,
but allow me to remind you that what Joy has
done is to digitally reproduce copyrighted
material with intent to distribute.
This constitutes potential violations of
the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the
EU Copyright Directive, the CPP Act of 1996,
and if Sudafed is involved, the Patriot Act.
I suggest you re-read the EULA (included with
the original cassette), in particular the
section that reads "The party of the first
part gives the party of the second part and
his associates full power to do with him, at
their pleasure, to rule, to send, fetch, or
cary him or his, be it either body, soul,
flesh, blood or goods."
[Side note while we're all making requests:
When re-issuing an album on CD, isn't it
customary to include some bonus tracks?]
Bark!

Whatever "product" she comes up with she really only has to share with me, since I'm the only one who thought enough of the band to keep my original tape in serviceable shape. You'll take what you get and be damn grateful for it. Crotchety Jack has spoken! As for a cabin trip...well, maybe not so much. ;-)
