Although I generally try not to count my paychecks until they're deposited, it's looking very much as if I'm going to be employed in the near future. I'm scheduled to start work at the Brentwood branch of Diesel, A Bookstore--I'm sorry, but that's what it's called--a week from Saturday. I'm going to be a full-time sales clerk, which isn't my favorite thing but it'll do.
This means that (a) I've got reason to celebrate, and (b) I've got free time this week and next that I don't have to spend job hunting. Anybody feel like getting together for a movie or a dinner or some such?
