Interesting article. Having Obama emphasize public sector design and innovation over heavy-handed government decisions does open up the field a bit more. But the focus will be tremendously scattered as billionaires (the only people capable of even TRYING to do something space-oriented) dream up their own concepts and scramble to get more funding for it. I'm not sure if "opportunity" is the right word for it. (Billionaires have always been able to do that.)
