Silly me. I thought it was the thrill of the hunt. Walking quietly
down a dusty trail, ears listening to every sound, eyes scanning for
the hidden sniper. Heart thumping in anticipation. Waiting until that
moment.
The enemy. Coming towards you, coming towards their doom.
You take careful aim, let them get close, and then...
pffft! The damn BB dribbles out and you get shot repeatedly while
trying to reload.
It's not exactly premature ejaculation but just as ineffective.
Luckily I never had that problem and can account for myself in a more
than manly fashion.

But honestly. I enjoyed the outdoors, the exercise, and the war
stories. The food was secondary though it always tasted better
while out in nature.
Hmmmm. A hike through Nicholas Flats might be good for the Monsters.
Deb and I can regale them with horror tales. ("And you see that bush?
That's where Kopitz hid for, like, three hours before shooting me.
Bastard!" "Oh, and here's where I shot mommy. It's OK - she beat me
up afterwards." "See the top of that hill? I shot John from the top
of that hill. He was prancing at the bottom and I aimed a bit high to
account for distance and got him. No, I really did. I *REALLY* did.
Don't argue with me. You're grounded.")
Hike's not a bad idea though...
