Oh, thank God. I was petrified that an Olive FAQ would be about
... historical data. All that water that they tell me is under the
bridge right now. (Which bridge? No one ever specifies, you
know.)

I had fears of some sort of "relationship map," which ... I'm better
now, though. My heart rate is back to normal.

Though, I'm not so sure it has nothing to do with Olives. Let's say
you saw A going through a relationship with B. They broke up.
Then A has a relationship with C. One night, over Lemon Lift tea,
C explains that A's behavior troubles him/her in some way. You
are able to explain, using the "olive gossip" variant of regression
analysis, that A did that same thing with B, and it's probably
because of this thing in his/her childhood, and C shouldn't
personalize it, but only set limits with him/her.

Seeing the behavior in the first relationship allows you to know
that it is part of A's pattern--irrespective of whom he/she is going
out with.
