Good thinking. After all, it hasn't occurred to John to actually seek
out private tutoring clients that will pay him real money. I'm afraid
he's not very smart, our Johnny. Just needs to be told everything.

If we could all give him just a little more advice, I think that would
help. Come on, everyone--chip in, already.

John, are you brushing your teeth? Wearing your galoshes?
Doing your yoga? Putting gas in your car? Eating your wheat
germ?

Volunteering is completely worthwhile, if it leads to a paying job.
And it's for a limited amount of time. Also, it keeps John busy,
which will ward off the depression that goes with
structurelessness.

Hey! Maybe we could lay off! Just a thought.
