Job Search Question

My Russian friend Sasha, who now lives in Romania, has a 19-year-old
daughter. She can speak English, though maybe not as well as her
father. She is a student at the Medical University in Bucharest.

She would like to come to the USA for a two-month period when the
university has its summer break. There is apparently some deal where
the university works with a tourist agency to arrange short-term US
jobs for students, but there are a lot or barriers to getting them.
The point is that this is a summer vacation, but also an opportunity
to work as well. The university together with the tourist agency
supplies all the visa paperwork for the students, allowing them to
work temporarily in the USA. Most of the students go to New York and
California...

If anyone would have leads for short-term work, such as waitressing,
or any other ideas, please let me know.
