After all the trouble I went through to get my job back....now this crap about budget cutbacks...I think I will be OK... I hope

But don't get me started....

The priorities of this state, not to mention this nation, are appalling....

Sorry, but I have to say it again...The Europeans are more civilized than we are.

  I would (unfortunately) have to agree with Barbie's assessment about
  California's cutbacks in the schools. While tutoring at SMC during
  the Fall Quarter, I saw where things were heading: I left in November
  to start a 'real job', and was told that Winter Quarter would be
  devoid of foreign languages, so my skills would not be needed. If I
  wanted to come back, the best time to check would be in Spring.
