You're thinking of DRIVING TO NY? That's a bit extreme. Not that I
haven't done it (okay--I went from New Jersey to LA, via MD [DJQ]
and Rhode Island [Paul and Kate]).

I would so love an excuse to go to NYC. Haven't been since the last
time--ahem!--my husband won an Emmy. Ever since we stopped being
nominated, they've stopped inviting us. Swine. But it's a lovely city.
A bit cold in the winter: yipes. [I went once, during a cold snap,
in January, on business. I had taken snappy little suits that involved
dresses and skirts--and thought I was being careful of the temp change.
Yipes! That's like the time I took a little sweater to Chicago
in March . . . We are so spoiled here.])
