Thank you for the warning. I wasn't sanguine about Farrells in the first
place and that sorta confirmed my worst opinions. Why is it "service"
people aren't any more? Especially the young, fluffy, decorative ones? I
have stopped going to Quizno's, much as I really like their sandwiches,
because it takes ten minutes or more for five people wandering around
aimlessly behind that counter to fill one order... incorrectly. It's not
that there were orders ahead of mine. Well, there were, but EACH item took
ten minutes to prepare. They have five people behind that counter. I'm not
sure what they're doing, because there's only one very s-l-o-w person
laboriously building e-a-c-h s-a-n-d.....w-ich... then drifts over to the
soup tureens and ladles out some soup... the other people seem to be there
as moral support or something, they aren't doing anything useful, like
dividing the labor. Then the person who's supposed to be at the register
drifts over and rings up the order.... ARGH!
