OK, I'll fess up.

I got my ass handed to me by a bunch of hyperactive pre-teens, who
thought nothing was more fun than stalking the grown-up. No matter
where I hid or ran there was always a trio of giggling chirp-twerps
firing at me. They were masters of the shoot-and-scoot, run-and-gun.
It was hell trying to get one of those little speed demons.

Adam told me his ploy was to crawl up the ramp and take out people as
they came down. He got me repeatedly by looking and then firing over
the ramp using the wall as a shield. Smart kid - he's grounded until
2020.

(*sigh*) I was nothing more than a big, old, balding, patsy target to
them (*sniff*). I didn't get any respect, even on my birthday.

But at least I have a drivers license!!! Nyaaah, nyahhh!
