Tempting--after all, so many political ads are fact-free.
However.
There's a small problem with this. See, we have this Constitution
thingie, which contains that Bill of Rights thingie, which in turn
encompasses something we call the First Amendment. And it was designed
specifically to protect political speech.
So I don't think it'll fly. At least, it shouldn't. Of course, a lot of
McCain-Feingold survived review, but that doesn't make it right.
