I recall seeing something quite funny a few years back...

In the 1950s there was a film made about what the year 1999 would look
like. Though completely wrong in many ways, it was actually very well
done. They took this film and added commentary from such characters as
John Waters (and others). This was the version that I saw.

Everyone in this film seemed wealthy, comfortable, and happy, as the
future technology did all the dirty work. Waters commented on the
total lack of black people in this future world. He was right! Where
did they all go??
