Well, yes. I do agree that the Clinton Administration should have made
it more of a priority to take care of the bin Ladin problem. Oh, well.

The "neo-con mindset" is not that we should stay in Iraq. It's that we
should only draw down as the Iraqis are able to take care of
themselves. And that there should be no public timetable for
withdrawal, as that will telegraph to the "insurgency" (terrorists)
that all they have to do is hang on a while longer, and we'll be gone.
