My views towards most company mergers is that the real winners are
(always) the Executives - plain and simple. This merger isn't about
creativity, about making a better product; it's about pocketing money
(not necessarily making money). Either way, successful films or flops
the Execs gain severely. Worse case, the merger un-merges with, again,
the Executives on the positive receiving end.

And the peons, in good times, end up with their 3.5% yearly raise, an
"employee of the month" plaque, and maybe a good parking space

And the peons, in bad times, end up laid off at home, wasting time
writing meaningless blogs while their faces (or legs) need a shave.

*grumble*
