FWIW, Washington, D.C. looks beautiful under a layer of snow. We should
try for an urban cabin trip sometime. Old buildings, warm cafes,
fireside parlors in the smallest hotels, plenty of places to walk
around . . . especially nice in a city like D.C., I mean Washington
D.C., Uncle Everett, where it doesn't truly get that cold, at least
compared to the tough Northern cities . . .
Well, that's where I was last week. I kind of made my own cabin trip,
if you want to know the truth. And then I went out to the suburbs for
the more social version, with port and kids and smart people and good
food.
On the bed situation, why don't you all three simply share a bed in the
heated room? That way, you won't get cold. And if either Dean or Deb
starts feeling needy, David will be there. How convenient!
