Subject: [OliveStarlightOrchestra] Cabin Trip report #2

It's still too early for humanity. It's snowing and it looks like we
won't be driving anywhere anytime soon. Our driveway slopes
precariously down to the house and while it's wonderful for sledding,
it'll be hell trying to get the OzMobile and the DCPuttPutt up and out.

Last night we told the boys that if they were quiet they could watch
cartoons in the morning. At 4:00 AM we heard sounds of feets tromping
down the stairs. Deb went down and told them to go back to bed but
they replied "You said we could watch cartoons in the morning. It's
morning." Debbie yelled "It's 4 AM IN THE MORNING. GO BACK TO BED!!!"

Anyway I saw a stupid looking poodle win a dog show on TV at 5:00 AM
and so started the morning.

(DEB)
Right now Jason is soaking wet, is covered with snow, and is wearing
no jacket. David is tearing after all three boys (with his clothes
on) getting snowballed in return. The boys have been outside most of
the morning (a small blessing, since their voices are slightly less
than thunderous, than they were this "morning".

OK, there was some cartoon watching. But only for about an hour.
(Kuzco's School rocks! Viewtiful Joe sucks! Coconut Fred must DIE
DIE DIE!!!)

I've only taken about 40 - 50 pictures so far and Dean's complaining
already! And they're nice pictures, too. Snowflakes. Jason with a
snowball as big as his head. Adam nearly crashing into our car after
sledding down our driveway, and the DC-Boy Battle of the morning.

Got a pot of chicken soup on the stove, it'll be cooking down all day.
There are no measuring cups or meauring spoons, no blender or food
processor, and I HAVE NO SUGAR TO BAKE WITH!!! This is the worst
cabin trip ever.

(DEAN)
And it's only 10:10. I expect the Boys to crash and burn in about 1
hour, and Deb even before then. She's about one snowball from full
rampage mode. Hee, hee. Just one teensy snowball...
