Continuing my Hermit-like Ways

Hi. I'm going to be out of the state on a sort of vacation between Oct. 25th
through Nov. 5th, visiting friends somewhere in Nevada. I'm not yet sure
what city or county or I'll be in exactly, but I'm gonna be hanging out
somewhere in the desert around that time. Just a sort of ten-day vacation--a
little R&R, you know.

I'm afraid that this means I shall miss the Halloween party, which fills me
with deep regret--since it's sort of the social event of the season. Sorry!
Get lots of pix of people in the best costumes, please!

On the other hand, that means that I will be back in the first week of
November, and ready to pay off my culinary debts (DC: pasta; Tahisha: steak;
John Turley: whatever he wants that doesn't involve fish; Bill and Jack:
whatever they want that's within my skill set and never lived in a body of
water).

So there you go!

Hope to see you all soon; I'm gradually de-hermitizing, stage-by-stage.
